So fast, one week break was over.
I did not even have time 2 enjoy the holiday, and worsen did not have enough rest.
Holidays are meant for us to take a break n also have fun and not doing n doing piles of endless homework which is impossible 2 finish within one week.
My whole holidays were ruin by
THREE FULL DAYS of CCA,
TWO DAYS of extra lesson, and
COUNTLESS HOMEWORK...
My homeworks did not have time to complete
and more homeworks were added to us during the extra lesson....
Yesterday, I completed all of my homeworks around 2am plus and i slept at 3am....poor me~

Today quite fun, during bio lesson went to lab to do experiment on testing of reducing sugar.We put the three test tube in the hot water after adding the solutions and benedict's solution in it,and observe the colour change.The one which turned Brick-red has a lot of reducing sugar.

I felt that the movie "freedom writes"is quite a interesting movie because it reflect
similarly to some of the student daily life.
The teacher in the movie care for the
student very much,she find ways to communicate with her student, find ways to
interest them in their study.she even work at night to earn money to bring them out
for trip to museum,even though the student not appreciate at first.
she manages to turn her student into a new leaf,and stay away from crimes. At the end, each of the student write out their own story and post on internet,and the teacher named it "freedom writers"

1. Tell me about a time when you suffered from an injury or were in pain.
There was a time when I sprain my hand at home. I remember I was five year old then, and was very playful. I sprain my hand when my sister and I were pulling each other hands. My mother brings me to see the Chinese physician after that.
· Describe the treatment you received.
The Chinese physician first helps me to apply some medical oil on my hand and massage it. Then he rotates my joint and straightened my hand. My hand was so pain and I scream, when he straightened my hand. My hand joined back, after the cracked sound, when he was straightened my hand. I was given some Chinese medicine, such as pill, to eat. Although, the treatment was expensive, but my hand was not as pain as before, and it recovered after several treatment.
· What might you do to relieve the pain or discomfort of an injury?
Firstly I will put some ice on my hand and try to massage it. If it doesn’t work, I will eat some pain-killer pill to relieve the pain.
2. The use of alternative medicine is becoming very widespread. Why might this be so?
This was because some people think that western medical were not as affective as the alternative medicine, and they think that the cost of western medical were very expensive. So they prefer alternative medicine to western medical.
· Can you think of some advantages of different approaches to treatment?
Example of alternative medicine are meditation, yoga, biofeedback, hypnosis, acupuncture, and diet-based therapies, in addition to a range of other practices.
The advantages of alternative medicine are that, it is much cheaper than most types of medical intervention.
· Why might alternative medicine cause concern for some people?
It was because the practices may incorporate or base themselves on traditional medicine, folk knowledge, spiritual beliefs, or newly conceived approaches to healing so they are not safe to use.

7/3/09 Last day of Fusion show
Today went to c sis s’fusion show. Walk around the exhibition.
WOW, I was impressed by all the animation n design.
The cartoon and drawing, done by the students, look so cute n realistic
Designs were also very cool…
All the thing were so pro
Walk around wif my sis n played UNO cards wif her friends.
I got to know some of her friends.
6/3/09 common test
Today, my history and bio test was badly done.
For bio, despite memorising it many times but still can’t remember.
During test worse, my mind was blank due to nervous.
I didn’t have time to complete the paper
.
History worsens, I don’t even understand what the qns want and I don’t understand the source.
I just dump something into the answer.
I just can’t quiet down my heart to think.
I think this was due to nervous n partly due to not enough of sleep last night.
This time surely failed both the test…
Afternoon went NYP for exchange program. They introduce their co and we separate into group n practice new songs wif them.
we gather again in the room. Both sch performed songs 4 each other. The first song we played was badly done.
I was impressed by what they played, it was so nice.
2/3/09 Raining day
Whole afternoon was raining.
Evening, I looked out of the window.
WOW! I saw a beautiful rainbow.
It was so nice!
27/2/09 Passion art
Today was passion art performance.
Afternoon got ready and went to RP.
Before the performance start, we kept practicing at the hold room.
When it was our turn to perform, I was so nervous that I shivered through out the performance.
The performance was quite a success.
My sis said that it was a wonderful concert, but sadly to say that we didn’t get to see any of the programs through out the performance.
26/2/09 Experiment
Today went to chem. Lab to do filtration and evaporation. This was the first time I went to chem. Lab.
Quite fun, I had a chance to try the experiment, using bunser burner.
At first, all of us tried many times to light up the fire but didn’t work.
We asked teacher for help and she went to call the lab assistance.
Guessed what? Actually the main switch of the gas did not switched on, lol…

 1st person wish me “happy birthday” was Jamie, surprised that she still remember my bday.
Later another surprised – a student came down from hall, looking 4 mi n gave me a book wif a letter. I was shocked n overjoyed.
Guessed what? It was a present from my favourite teacher. I didn’t expect that she will gave me present because I didn’t tell her that it was my bday, but I got to know after that. She told me that my sis told her the day before…
It was a memorable birthday, because I got quite a n.o of surprised.
Thanks to those who remember my bday plus those who gave me present
. Thanks 4 the present.Also wan 2 thank my sis 4 the surprised…

So happy, teacher remembers my bday n gave mi lollipop.
Later reach home, dad gave mi a present, he said want 2 gave mi earlier.
He especially went shopping n choose the present.
Last few years, he was either 4got my bday or just gave mi money n bought e thing I like.
Guessed what? he very funny, he gave me the present 2gether wif the wrapping paper n even the receipt but sis grabs it over before I got to c the price...
Who will give ppl present like that, not sincere at all?
