English Assignment~ microfinancing

Microfinance refers to the provision of financial services to poor or low-income clients, including consumers and the self-employed. I think this services may help the poor by loaning them money for business as some of the poor may need money for business and the bank may not willing to loan.so i think this services might help.

From what i know SINGAPORE as a society take care the poor.
For example,the Ministry of Education provides financial assistance to needy Singapore Citizen pupils in Government or Government-Aided schools. It also provides subsidy for school fees to Singapore Citizen pupils from lower-income and middle income families in Independent schools, except Singapore Sports School, NorthLight School and School Of The Arts which have their own schemes to provide financial assistance to their pupils.

English Assignment~ About me

I am a 14 year old girl, who had studied in Xishan Primary School and currently study in Northland Secondary School. I take Principle of Account, Combine Science, Biology and Elective History subject for these two years.

My favourite subject is history, as I am interested in the study of the past event, and wanted to know about the period after World War I.

I have an elder sister which is 5 years older than me and was once a northlander. Currently, she is studying in Nanyang Polythenic for final year.

I was born on the 18th February and I am a Christian. I attend church every Sunday noon and go to fellowship after that.

Fellowship is fun and I had made a lot of friends there.

My favourite colour is black which I think is cool, blue and pink which I think are peaceful and joyful colours.

My favourite food is the sushi and seafood while I dislike eating green leafy vegetables except seaweed, as I dislike the taste and find it difficult to swallow.

My hobby is using instant messenger to chat with my friends and surfing web, reading blogs of my friends. As for sports, I love playing badminton, cycling and swimming; however, I detest running.
